Our organization is committed to provide all levels of engineers opportunities to work on a variety of Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) projects across Pacific Northwest/Greater Seattle Area including design-build, public-private partnerships (PPP), construction manager/general contractor (CM/GC), and design-bid-build as part of General Engineering Consortium Teams (GEC).
Our staff will work with interdisciplinary teams on each mega project including peer hydraulics specialists, geotechnical engineers, bridge engineers, roadway engineers, environmental scientists, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, estimators, schedulers and construction experts to perform engineering analysis and design in support of pursuits and ongoing projects.

Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree (B.E., B. Tech., B.S) in Environmental/Civil Engineering, Hydraulics, Water Resources, Earth Sciences, or a related field from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent is required.
Candidates with Master’s (M.E., MTech., M.S) degree from an accredited US university are preferred.
Preferred Experience:
WSDOT drainage design, HRM Certified, fish passage culverts, storm systems, pump stations, bridge hydraulics, scour, sediment transport, revetment design, and coastal considerations for highway and transit drainage
Understanding of FHWA hydraulic engineering circulars and design series
Flood analysis and knowledge of the NFIP including CLOMR and LOMRs
Stormwater quantity / quality calculations, LID, NPDES compliance and erosion control
CulvertMaster, Storm and Sanitary Analysis (SSA), 2D experience helpful such as SRH-2D, FLO-2D, TuFlow
Development of plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E) for transportation and water resources projects. This includes developing terrain, grading and other design components via models such as OpenRoads, Inroads, Q-GIS, and data visualization tools
CADD Applications Expertise: MicroStation, Inroads, Civil3D, OpenRoads.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization and support project efforts.
